The ground floor of Yr Hafod contains the residents lounge, bar and dining room. All the bedrooms are on the first floor. Dogs are welcome.

The lounge is believed to have originally been a farm building. It contains a huge fireplace, which may have well been the farm's forge and is used in the winter months to burn logs. Comfortably furnished, with a mixture of modern and antique furniture and having no television, it is a relaxing place for guests to unwind in.

The bar is thought to have been the hall of the late medieval house, it has been fitted with antique oak wall panelling and has a small well stocked bar which has been made from Victorian chapel fittings. Together with some antiques, these features create a room of great character.

The dining room which is created out of two rooms, each with a small alcove off it, provides intimate spaces for diners. The lower end, where breakfast is usually served in the summer, has large windows facing east over the gardens.

There are six bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, and are individually decorated and furnished. A balcony surrounds most of the building, and all bedrooms have direct access onto it - a place to enjoy the sun and views, or even to listen to the sounds of the many owls in the surrounding trees and woodlands at night.

Bookings for a minimum of 2 nights taken over Bank Holiday weekends. Special Christmas and New Year packages are available - please enquire. Discounts for groups and long stays available - please enquire. We are a non-smoking establishment. No children under 11years old. Dogs can be accommodated at £5 per night. Check in is between 3p.m & 6.30pm (unless we have been advised of a late arrival) Ccheck out by 10.30am on the morning of departure. An a la carte menu is also available. We currently accept the following Credit/Debit Cards. A credit card number will secure your booking. A £50, non refundable deposit is required for each room booked. Guests are respectfully reminded that a booking. unless clearly stated to be and confirmed as provisional, constitutes a binding contract. In the event of cancellation, the full bed and breakfast rate applicable will be charged. We shall make every effort to re-let the accommodation, which had been booked, and will allow a refund of any monies so obtained, by ourselves. We are offering a flexible option of two, three and four day breaks this year. Meals will consist of dinner, bed and breakfast, each day, except Christmas Day, when there will be continental breakfast, Christmas lunch, and if required, a light supper. Afternoon tea will be included on each day, taken in the lounge with it's open log fire. We will be adding a few special touches to create the atmosphere of a small house party. Light lunches will be available at a small extra cost if required.
